Summer Term Clubs

Dear Parents,

The list of clubs for the Summer Term is now available to book on line through ParentMail. Please go to the ‘Forms’ section and select which clubs your child would like to take part in. All clubs on offer this term are free of charge.

Please note the following points:

  • Clubs for the Spring Term will begin on Tuesday 3rd May and finish on Friday 15th July
  • Closing date for the form will be on Thursday 28th April
  • We are not able to guarantee spaces for all children who apply. You will be informed by email as to which club(s) they can attend by the end of the day on Friday 29th April
  • Please only sign your child up for a club if they are going to be committed to attending regularly.
  • You do not need to reapply for clubs which are continued.
  • All clubs are open to boys and girls
  • Parents should consider that the crossing patrols are not on duty when the clubs finish

 

Monday:         

Multi Sports - lunchtime (All year groups)

L/S Athletics 3.30pm – 4.30pm (Years 3 & 4)   

                                   

Tuesday:         

Mindfulness Club 8.15am-8.45am (Whole School)

L/S Fun Fit 3.30pm-4.30pm (Years 3 & 4) Starting 10th May

U/S Athletics 3.30pm – 4.30pm (Years 5 & 6)

U/S Computing Club 3.30pm – 4.30pm (Years 5 & 6)

 

Wednesday:    

Eco Councillor Club 12.10pm – 1.10pm (Continued - by invitation only)

Multi Sports - lunchtime (All year groups)

                                               

Thursday:        

Mindfulness Club 8.15am - 8.45am (Whole School)

Multi Sports - lunchtime (All year groups)

 

Friday:             

Choir 12.35pm – 1.05pm (Continued - All year groups)

CANCELLING CLUBS

  • The possibility of teachers’ meetings occurring on the same day as an after school/lunchtime club is high. We appreciate your understanding if clubs have to be cancelled for this reason. Parents should note that if an after school club has to be cancelled for any reason, the children will be told as soon as possible and an email will be sent
  • If no such notice can be given and the club is cancelled on the day it should have taken place, a text will still be sent and children will be told to go to the school office from where they can be collected. Any parent wishing their child to walk home will need to phone the school office to give permission
  • Parents should be aware that the level of supervision of children will not be the same as that needed by the club but that, nevertheless, teaching staff will be on site during this time
  • If, for some reason, your child cannot attend their club, or no longer wishes to attend, please inform the office in order for us to remove them from the register

Children are informed of the above arrangements; we would ask parents to reinforce these with their children.
