Bosmere is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles; it is conscious of its place within the wider Havant community and the environmental consequences of motorised school travel. 
Our School Travel Plan has the following aims:

• - To encourage children and staff to walk, cycle or use public transport on their journey to and from school
• - To improve road safety around the school
• - To use educational programmes to promote safer and healthier lifestyles

In particular parents are asked NOT to park on the roundabout outside the school car park at the end of the school day because this creates a safety hazard for the children as they leave school, and also blocks emergency vehicle access to the school site, which has to be maintained at all times.
